Corn Maze Fun

On Sunday Kinsey came to town for work so we took Drew to the corn maze. We tried Maze 1, which is the hardest, and came out of the entrance of Maze 2. We decided to try Maze 3, which is the family fun maze, and ended up making it out the exit of that maze. They also had a pumpkin patch there so we went out there to pick Drew up a small pumpkin. We attempted getting some pictures but he was more interested in the pumpkins than taking a picture. It was incredibly hot out there but was a good experience for Drew.

Boo at the Zoo

On Saturday, Dean and I took Drew to Boo at the Zoo. We had never been to El Paso's Zoo so we did not know what to expect. It is a smaller zoo but all of the animals were out to play. Drew loved looking at the animals, especially the Sea Lions. He was able to stand at the glass as they swam by. It was very hot out with his costume on so we did not leave it on the entire time.

Trip to Oklahoma

So sorry that I have not updated this blog in a while! We went to Oklahoma to visit friends and for Staci's wedding a couple weeks ago. We had a lot of fun. While we were home we celebrated Drew's birthday with the rest of the family that was not able to make the trip to Oklahoma. Sally, Calvin, and Peyton made the trip from Arlington to come see us since it was the boys' fall break. We took Drew to the park with the dogs one day. Drew also was able to make his first trip to walk around in Stillwater for OSU's homecoming. He loved it there and was screaming and had his arms out the entire time. We were even able to get Uncle Jared to go... Maybe he is becoming a Cowboy fan. While we were in Oklahoma Drew began walking. He is a pro at walking now and prefers it over crawling. We were very happy to come home and see Daddy though.

Daddy Is Home

On Monday we picked Dean up at Biggs Field around 2. In the beginning Drew was trying to be shy and hugging on me. Finally Dean grabbed Drew and it all went down from there. We had to stop on our way home for Dean to get a haircut. When Dean got out Drew started balling. He was so upset that he had just picked Daddy up and he was already leaving. Drew was acting tired when we got home so I put him down for a nap but he would only sleep for about 15 minutes. He was too excited about Daddy coming home and just wanted to climb on him constantly. The next morning Dean didn't have to be at work until 9 so he was home when Drew woke up. I picked him up out of his crib and he immediately wanted Daddy. He sat outside of the bathroom the entire time Dean was getting ready and talked to him through the door. It was very cute! He has been Daddy's attachment.
